KPK: 23 Satuan Kerja Setor Rp3 Juta hingga Rp100 Juta ke Bupati Cilacap

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that 23 regional units in the Cilacap Regency Government, Central Java, had extorted money of around Rp3 million to 100 million for Cilacap Regent Syamsul Auliya Rachman.

"The deposits received are diverse. Starting from, even far away, Rp. 3 million to Rp. 100 million per regional unit," said Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu at the KPK Red and White Building, Jakarta, Saturday (14/3) evening.

In fact, said Asep, the initial request was around Rp75-100 million per unit of local government apparatus.

"It is likely because at this time the regional devices also do not have a budget," he said.

Therefore, he suspected that the deposit could vary because there was a bargaining process, and was regulated based on the considerations of Assistant II of the Cilacap Regional Secretariat Ferry Adhi Dharma (FER).

"If the local government cannot meet the amount that has been determined, Rp75-100 million, then it is required to report to the FER for consideration and be reduced from the target in accordance with the agreement," he said.

Previously, on March 13, 2026, the KPK announced the ninth 2026 hand-to-hand operation, which was the third in Ramadan.

The OTT arrested the Regent of Cilacap Syamsul Auliya Rachman and 26 other people, and seized cash in the form of rupiah.

In addition, the KPK said that the OTT was related to the alleged receipt of projects in the environment of the Cilacap Regency Government, Central Java.

On March 14, 2026, the KPK announced Syamsul Auliya Rachman (AUL) and Cilacap Regional Secretary Sadmoko Danardono (SAD) as suspects in the alleged extortion and other receipts in the Cilacap Regency Government, Central Java, in the 2025-2026 fiscal year.
