KPK: Cilacap Regent Needs Rp515 Million for THR Police and Prosecutors in His District

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that Cilacap Regent Syamsul Auliya Rachman needed up to Rp. 515 million to provide holiday allowance (THR) to the regional leadership coordination forum (forkopimda) in the Cilacap Regency, Central Java, such as police to prosecutors.

"The amount after being calculated is approximately Rp. 515 million," said Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu at the KPK Red and White Building, Jakarta, Saturday (14/3) evening.

Asep explained that the figure was determined by the Cilacap Regional Secretary Sadmoko Danardono together with the Assistant I of the Cilacap Regional Secretariat Sumbowo, Assistant II of the Cilacap Regional Secretariat Ferry Adhi Dharma, and Assistant III of the Cilacap Regional Secretariat Budi Santoso.

Meanwhile, he said they determined the figure because previously Syamsul Auliya ordered Sadmoko Danardono to collect THR money.

"The Regent of Cilacap, in the context of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah/2026 Masehi, ordered the SAD as the Regional Secretary of Cilacap Regency to collect money in order to meet the needs of THR for personal and external parties. External parties here are forkopimda or a forum for coordination of regional leadership in the Cilacap Regency," he said.

Previously, on March 13, 2026, the KPK announced the ninth 2026 hand-to-hand operation, which was the third in Ramadan.

The OTT arrested the Regent of Cilacap Syamsul Auliya Rachman and 26 other people, and seized cash in the form of rupiah.

In addition, the KPK said that the OTT was related to the alleged receipt of projects in the environment of the Cilacap Regency Government, Central Java.

On March 14, 2026, the KPK announced Syamsul Auliya Rachman (AUL) and Cilacap Regional Secretary Sadmoko Danardoo (SAD) as suspects in the alleged extortion and other receipts in the Cilacap Regency Government, Central Java, in the 2025-2026 fiscal year.
