Second Day of Ketupat 2026 Operation, Wakapolri Says Jakarta Exit Traffic is Smoothly Monitored
BEKASI - Based on aerial monitoring, Deputy Chief of Police Commissioner General of Police Dedi Prasetyo said that the traffic flow out of Jakarta on the second day of Operation Ketupat 2026 was observed to be running smoothly.
"In general, I monitor from the air, the traffic flow out of Jakarta is running very smoothly and although there has been an increase, it is still very smooth in the category," he said when met at the KM 29 Command Center, Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java, Saturday.
In addition to traffic, Dedi revealed that the situation of maintaining public security and order (harkamtibmas) was also conducive.
"In general, the Kamtibmas situation is also in a very conducive condition. Traffic flow, although there has been an increase, is still in the category of everything can be controlled very well," he said.
After monitoring traffic by air, Wakapolri reviewed the readiness of technological infrastructure at the KM 29 Command Center. With the technology available at the control center, it is possible to know the current condition of the toll road.
He said that from monitoring on several toll roads to Cikampek, to Cirebon, to the Central Java border at the Kalikangkung Toll Road, and until entering the East Java exit, Ngawi, the traffic conditions were observed to be very smooth.
"We also see that the toll leading to Merak is also in a very smooth condition. In Merak, it has been at the Cilegon exit, efforts have been made to divert especially three-axle vehicles, to be taken off the toll road, namely to the arterial road," he said.
Operation Ketupat 2026 lasted for 13 days, from March 13 to March 25, 2026, involving 161,243 joint personnel.
The National Police has prepared 2,746 posts consisting of 1,624 security posts, 779 service posts, and 343 integrated posts, as information and service centers for people who travel.
Security will also be focused on 185,607 objects in the form of mosques, Eid al-Fitr prayer locations, tourist attractions, shopping centers, terminals, ports, train stations, and airports.
