Kemkomdigi Officials Asked to Accelerate Digital Transformation

JAKARTA - Communication and Digital Minister Meutya Hafid asked new officials in the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) to accelerate the implementation of the national digital transformation program so that the benefits can be felt directly by the community.

At the inauguration of high-ranking officials in the environment of Kemkomdigi in Central Jakarta, Friday, March 13, he conveyed that the acceleration of government work in the implementation of national digital transformation is very important because digital technology is developing very fast.

"The national digital transformation agenda does not wait. Digitalization is moving very fast and the public demands tangible results from every policy we implement," said Meutya in a press statement from the ministry quoted by Antara, Saturday, March 14.

Meutya asked all units of work in the environment of Kemkomdigi to work quickly, adaptively, and collaboratively so that every program that is carried out really has an impact on the wider community.

He also reminded the newly appointed officials to strengthen cross-unit coordination and accelerate the implementation of various priority programs of the ministry.

"This is a trust that must be carried out with strong leadership, high integrity, and the ability to move quickly in executing various government strategic agendas," he said.

He emphasized that every policy implemented must be effective, accountable, and provide measurable benefits for the public.

With strong leadership, integrity, and professionalism of the apparatus, Meutya is optimistic that Kemkomdigi can contribute significantly in supporting the national development agenda towards the Golden Indonesia 2045.

"I am confident that with the commitment and dedication of all levels, we can make a real contribution to the progress of the nation and the state," he said.

The new officials in the environment of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, who were inaugurated on Friday, March 13, include Sonny Hendra Sudaryana as Director of Digital Ecosystem Development, Farida Dewi Maharani as Director of Media Ecosystem, and Nunik Purwanti as Director of Public Communications.

In addition, Muhammad Zamzani B Tjenreng was inaugurated as the Secretary of the Central Information Commission, Indra Maulana as the Director of Digital Infrastructure Control, and Ervan Fathurokhman Adiwijaya as the Secretary of the Directorate General of Digital Infrastructure.
