KPK Reportedly Holds OTT in Cilacap Central Java

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has again held a hand-in-hand operation (OTT) in the Central Java region today, March 13. This time, the intensive action is reported to target officials in the Cilacap Regency area.

Based on the information collected, the silent operation is still ongoing until this afternoon. So, the secured party cannot be detailed.

Meanwhile, when confirmed, Deputy Chairman of the KPK Johanis Tanak admitted that he had not received information regarding this OTT in Cilacap.

"I haven't received any information," he said when confirmed by reporters, Friday, March 13.

VOI also tried to contact the Chairman of the KPK Setyo Budiyanto, Deputy Chairman of the KPK Fitroh Rohcahyanto, and Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu, but they have not responded.

As previously reported, the KPK had just held an OTT in Central Java in early March. During the activity, the Regent of Pekalongan Fadia Rafiq was named a suspect in alleged conflicts of interest in the procurement of goods and services and alleged gratification.

In this case, Fadia through his family's company, PT Raja Nusantara Berjaya (PT RNB) is suspected of monopolizing outsourcing services and goods projects in Pekalongan Regency, Central Java. He is also suspected of receiving other gifts while in office.

PT Raja Nusantara Berjaya was established after Fadia took office or precisely in 2022 with her husband, Mukhtaruddin Ashraff Abu as a Member of the Indonesian Parliament and Muhammad Sabiq Ashraff, a legislator for the Lamongan Regency DPRD, who is her son.
