JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo together with related stakeholders, including the TNI Commander General TNI Agus Subiyanto to the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Pratikno, directly checked the readiness of the homecoming flow at Merak Port, Banten, by air.
Reported from the statement via Antara Friday, March 13, the National Police Chief saw the current condition of the readiness of Merak Port in facing the homecoming flow until the 2026 Eid al-Fitr return using a helicopter.
This aerial patrol is carried out in order to ensure the readiness of security and service for the homecoming flow until the Eid al-Fitr for the community.
After the aerial patrol, the National Police Chief and other related stakeholders will hold a coordination meeting at Merak Port to ensure the smooth operation of the 2026 ketupat.
Then, they will also review directly to the ship that transports people to their respective hometowns.
After that, symbolically distributing basic necessities to officers, reviewing the integrated security post and disaster standby post, and then greeting the travelers directly.
