MMSGI Continues Bigger Dream 2026 CSR Program, Expands Education Support to Two Schools in East Jakarta
JAKARTA - MMSGI once again reiterated its commitment to supporting the improvement of education quality through the launch of the Bigger Dream 2026 CSR program. This program officially began through the kick-off ceremony which took place during the MMSGI Iftar 2026 event on Wednesday, March 11 at Balai Kartini, Jakarta.
Working with the Life After Mine Foundation (LINE), this year's Bigger Dream program expands its impact by targeting two schools in East Jakarta, namely the Citra Dharma Education Foundation in Cipayung and the Ziyadatul Arqom Foundation in Jatinegara. Both schools in total host 355 students and 69 teachers from elementary school to vocational high school.
The ceremonial handover of the program symbol was carried out by the Chairman of the LINE Foundation, Mochamad Bihar, to representatives of the two schools as beneficiaries of the Bigger Dream 2026 program.
The Bigger Dream CSR program is an MMSGI social initiative that focuses on improving the quality of the learning environment through the improvement of educational facilities and strengthening the capacity of students through the involvement of employee volunteers in various capacity building activities.
MMSGI CEO, Sendy Greti, said that the expansion of this program is part of the company's commitment to bring sustainable social impact in the field of education.
"After last year's Bigger Dream was present in Cilincing, North Jakarta, this year we are expanding the reach of the program to East Jakarta with two schools at once. We hope that more students can experience a better learning environment and have the opportunity to realize their bigger dreams for the future," said Sendy.
The Bigger Dream program was previously carried out at the Syarif Hidayatullah Cilincing Foundation, North Jakarta, throughout 2025 to early 2026 through three phases of activities which include the improvement of school facilities and student capacity development activities.
In its implementation, this program involves 185 MMSGI employees as donors and volunteers. Employee involvement includes donations for school facility improvements, capacity building sessions, to logistical support during the program.
Through the collaboration between MMSGI and the LINE Foundation, the Bigger Dream 2025 program managed to realize the renovation of 10 school facilities, consisting of 8 classrooms and 2 sanitation facilities, to create a healthier and decent learning environment for students and teachers.
The program provides direct benefits to 232 beneficiaries, consisting of 207 students across all levels of education and 25 teaching staff, and is equipped with the distribution of 232 school bags and stationery to support teaching and learning activities.
In addition to improving physical facilities, the Bigger Dream program also presents various activities to develop student capacity through the involvement of employee volunteers. These activities include storytelling for elementary school students, making vision boards for junior high school students to help design future goals, and entrepreneurship training based on business model canvas for vocational students.
Chairman of the LINE Foundation, Mochamad Bihar, emphasized that collaboration between the business world, social foundations, and educational institutions is the key to creating sustainable social impact.
"The Bigger Dream program not only brings improvements to school facilities, but also opens a space for direct interaction between volunteers and students to provide inspiration and motivation for young people to achieve greater dreams for the future," he said.
This program is also supported by the active participation of MMSGI employees. In the implementation of the previous program, the total donation collected reached around IDR 1.012 billion from company and employee donations, reflecting the strong culture of social concern in the company environment.
Through the implementation of Bigger Dream 2026, MMSGI hopes that this program can continue to grow as a platform for educational empowerment as well as expanding sustainable social impact for the community.
