Whoosh Back to Normal Operation with 62 Trips per Day Starting March 14, 2026

JAKARTA - Ahead of the 2026 Lebaran Transportation period, PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) ensures that the Whoosh high-speed train service will resume normal operations with 62 trips per day starting March 14, 2026 to support increased community mobility.

Previously, KCIC had adjusted the operational schedule to 42 trips per day to support the work of moving the High Voltage Air Duct cable that runs on the Whoosh operational line.

KCIC Corporate Secretary General Eva Chairunisa said that a number of initial stages of the SUTT cable relocation work had been carried out safely and smoothly so that travel operations could be gradually improved again.

"Starting March 14, 2026, the Whoosh service will resume operations with a total of 62 trips per day to meet the mobility needs of the community, especially ahead of the Lebaran Transportation period," Eva said in an official statement, Thursday, March 12.

With the return of Whoosh's normal operations, the first and last departure schedules also returned as before. From Halim Station, the first train departs at 06.25 WIB and the last train at 21.25 WIB.

Meanwhile, from the Summarecon Tegalluar Station, the first trip starts at 06.05 WIB and the last trip at 21.05 WIB.

Whoosh travel tickets for departures starting from March 14, 2026 onwards are currently available for booking through various official sales channels, such as the Whoosh app, the ticket.kcic.co.id website, and partner apps such as Access by KAI, Livin’ by Mandiri, BRImo, Wondr by BNI, Tiket.com, Traveloka, and Trip.com.

Eva explained, the work of moving the SUTT cable that runs on the Whoosh operational line is carried out in several stages.

A number of initial stages have been carried out safely and smoothly, while the next stage will continue after the Eid Transportation Post period is completed.

"KCIC thanks the community for their support during the adjustment period. Information regarding the continuation of the SUTT cable relocation work as well as the next operational adjustment will be periodically communicated to the public," concluded Eva.
