Driver Not Focused, Truck of Goods Rolled Over in Front of the DPR Gate

JAKARTA - A goods truck had a single accident on Jalan Gatot Subroto in the west direction, near the gate of the DPR Building, Central Jakarta, Thursday, March 12, 2026. The truck overturned after hitting the busway lane separator.

"The traffic accident occurred on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at around 05.30 WIB on Jalan Gatot Subroto in the west direction, precisely near the gate of the DPR/MPR Building in Central Jakarta," said Head of the Directorate of Education and Enforcement of Law of the Traffic Police, Deputy Commissioner General of Police Ojo Ruslani, in his statement, Thursday, March 12, 2026.

Ojo said that the goods car was driven by Ahmad Alkhusaeri, 31. The driver from Lebak, Banten was suspected of being less concentrated in driving.

"It is suspected that the driver was not careful and not concentrated when avoiding other vehicles, so he threw the steering wheel to the right and hit the busway separator," explained Ojo.

According to Ojo, as a result of the incident, the Mitsubishi goods vehicle overturned. However, the police confirmed that there were no casualties in the incident.

In addition, the traffic flow at the accident site has also returned to normal and there is no significant traffic jam.
