Ketupat Kayan 2026 Operation, Polresta Bulungan, Arranges Joint Personnel to Secure Eid al-Fitr
TANJUNG SELOR - Polresta Bulungan, North Kalimantan (Kaltara) has alerted joint personnel to secure the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah through Operation Ketupat Kayan 2026.
This readiness was marked by the apple title of the troops held at the Polresta Bulungan Apple Field, Thursday, March 12.
The apple, which started at around 08.00 Wita, was led by the Head of Operations of Polresta Bulungan, Kompol Kemas Zein Errie Limantara, attended by the Head of Polresta Bulungan, Kombes Pol Rofikoh Yunianto, Dandim 0903/Bulungan, Lt. Col. Inf Dhuwi Hendradjaja, and a number of representatives of related institutions in Bulungan Regency.
The head of the Bulungan Police, Kombes Pol Rofikoh Yunianto, said that this year's Lebaran security operation involved joint personnel from the TNI, Polri, Transportation Service, Satpol PP, BPBD, Basarnas, Health Service, PMI to Senkom.
"Personnel are divided into four companies that are on alert to support security at various strategic points, ranging from major traffic routes, crowded centers, to places of worship during the Idul Fitri period," said Kombes Rofikoh.
"In addition to ensuring the readiness of personnel, the apple is also marked by the implantation of an operation mark to the representative of the members as a symbol of the start of Operation Ketupat Kayan 2026 in the legal area of the Bulungan Police," he continued.
Rofikoh emphasized that this operation aims to ensure that the public can celebrate Eid al-Fitr safely and comfortably, especially during the homecoming, Lebaran celebrations until the return flow. In addition, his party also held a coordination meeting for the 2026 Ketupat Kayan Operation to mature the pattern of Lebaran security in the Bulungan Regency area.
"This operation is a form of our readiness with the TNI and all related institutions to ensure that the community can celebrate Eid al-Fitr safely, orderly, and comfortably, from the homecoming flow to the return flow," he said.
He explained that security was not only focused on traffic management, but also included security for community activity centers and anticipation of potential security disruptions during the Lebaran momentum.
"We have placed personnel at a number of strategic points such as major traffic routes, crowded centers, and places of worship to anticipate potential security disruptions and congestion during the Eid al-Fitr celebration," he said.
