One Year Andantara, President Prabowo Gives Message: Always Guard the State's Wealth

Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto gave a message to the Danantara Indonesia Investment Management Agency (BPI) to always prioritize good governance in managing state wealth.

According to him, Danantara not only manages the country's wealth today, but also the wealth of Indonesia's younger generation in the future. This was conveyed by President Prabowo in the one-year anniversary of the establishment of Danantara in Jakarta, Wednesday, March 11.

Currently, continued President Prabowo, Danantara manages assets (assets under management) with a value of more than USD 1 trillion, making it one of the sovereign wealth funds with the largest asset management in the world.

According to President Prabowo, currently Danantara is one of the institutions that he is most closely watched in Indonesia, with a Supervisory Board consisting of a number of Coordinating Ministers. In addition, President Prabowo has also asked the Financial Audit Agency (BPK), the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), the Attorney General's Office, the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia, and the TNI Commander to also supervise Danantara.

President Prabowo also opened the opportunity to appoint a special presidential envoy at each State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) under the management of Danantara to strengthen supervision.
