Logistics Activity Remains High During Ramadan, IPC TPK Records 600 Thousand TEUs
JAKARTA - Logistics activities at the beginning of Ramadan still show a positive trend in various operational areas of IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK). Until February 2026, the company recorded a container flow of 600,416 TEUs, an increase of 8.7% compared to the same period last year.
On a monthly basis, the performance of the container traffic in February 2026 also showed a positive trend. This achievement reflects the logistics activity that is still maintained in various operational areas of the company at the beginning of the year.
IPC TPK Corporate Secretary, Pramestie Wulandary, said that IPC TPK continues to strengthen terminal operations to ensure the smooth flow of cargo, especially during the Ramadan period and before the Lebaran holiday.
"We also support the policy of limiting the operation of freight transport by adjusting the operational pattern and appealing to service users to arrange the delivery and pick-up of containers early," said Pramestie.
According to him, the IPC TPK continues to optimize terminal facilities and increase the productivity of loading and unloading equipment in various operational areas.
In addition, the company also strengthens the implementation of the aspects of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) to ensure that every operational activity runs safely, efficiently, and sustainably.
The largest contribution to the container flow still comes from terminals in the Tanjung Priok area. Until February 2026, the container flow at Tanjung Priok 1 was recorded at 208,198 TEUs, an increase of around 14% compared to the same period last year which reached 182,727 TEUs.

"This growth in freight traffic shows that logistics activities are still maintained in various operational areas," explained Pramestie.
"In the future, we will continue to encourage cross-functional communication and coordination with various stakeholders. This collaboration is the key to ensuring the smooth flow of logistics, especially during periods with increased distribution activities," concluded Pramestie.
