IPDN Submits 1,410 New People's Needs for 2026
JAKARTA - The Institute of Internal Government (IPDN) has submitted a new pre-service recruitment requirement of 1,410 people in 2026 to support the sustainability of the education process and the optimal use of campus facilities.
Rector Halilul Khairi said the proposal had been submitted to the government as a requirement for the new public acceptance.
"This year we propose the acceptance of 1,410 people and hopefully it can be approved by the government," he said when receiving a visit from Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives at the Jatinangor Campus, Sumedang, Wednesday, quoted by Antara.
He explained that the amount of pre-village income greatly affects the effectiveness of the implementation of education in the campus environment, including the use of dormitories, classrooms, and teaching activities of lecturers.
According to him, if the number of pre-village receipts is below 1,200 people, a number of educational facilities have the potential not to be optimally utilized.
"If the acceptance is below 1,200, many facilities are idle, dormitories are empty, and lecturers also do not have enough teaching hours," he said.
Halilul gave an example that in previous years, the relatively small pre-ja acceptance had an impact on the teaching load of lecturers.
"In even semesters, there are lecturers who only teach about 3 to 6 SKS, although ideally it is a minimum of 9 to 16 SKS," he said.
He added that the educational institution is currently continuing to strengthen the quality of learning, including through curriculum improvement and the development of pre-school academic activities.
He said his campus also currently has various educational support facilities such as dormitories, lecture rooms, government laboratories, libraries, and sports facilities designed to support academic activities in an integrated manner.
IPDN has also been recorded as a campus with superior accreditation and encourages students and lecturers to actively publish scientific publications and expand academic cooperation with foreign universities.
He hopes that the proposal for the acceptance of the prefecture can be approved by the government so that the education process, utilization of campus facilities, and academic activities of lecturers and prefecture can run optimally.
