Goreng Saham Case Still Being Investigated, Wakapolri Checks Complaints from NGOs Asking for THR

JAKARTA - The National Police has not opened new details about the alleged stock goreng which had been highlighted by the public. When asked about the development of the case which was associated with Mina Padi and Pipa, Deputy Chief of Police Komjen Pol Dedi Prasetyo has not given a detailed explanation. He said he would first ask about the development to the investigators who handled the case.

The statement was conveyed by Dedi to reporters at the Government Communication Agency, Bina Graha Building, Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 11.

"Later I will ask first, I will ask the Dirtipideksus who handles this matter how the update is," said Dedi.

Asked whether the National Police had so far seen stock trading on the Stock Exchange, Dedi also did not give certainty. He only said that the deepening process was still ongoing.

"Yes, we are still investigating this. We are investigating comprehensively. Later, if there is a result, from the results of the investigation process, the update will be conveyed to friends," he said.

On the same occasion, Dedi was also asked about complaints from employers against organizations that asked for THR. His answer was not much different. He said he would check first, then confirmed that the police would take action if violations were found.

"Later I will check it first. If it is proven that there is a violation, of course the police will take steps to take action," he said.
