Pramono Anung Warns There Should Be No Forced THR by Ormas to Employers
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung reminded that no party should force employers to provide Eid Al-Fitr Allowance (THR) ahead of Eid al-Fitr.
"Hopefully, there will be no coercion from ormas (community organizations) or anyone to ask for THR," said Pramono when met in the East Jakarta area, Tuesday, March 10.
He said that Jakarta has always been known to have a conducive business climate. Therefore, he hopes that the relationship between entrepreneurs and the community can be maintained well without any pressure from any party.
Pramono also advised employers to respond to THR requests from outside parties wisely.
According to him, maintaining a conducive situation is the most important thing so that economic activities in the capital city can run smoothly.
"For entrepreneurs, if I may suggest, because Jakarta, especially us, is maintaining a life that is already going well," said Pramono.
Furthermore, he said the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) wanted to ensure that the atmosphere leading up to Eid al-Fitr remained safe and comfortable, both for the community and business actors.
One of them is this Lebaran, the DKI Provincial Government has prepared a program to return to Jakarta.
On March 12, 2026, the Hijab Fashion Show was held in the Tanah Abang area. Furthermore, on March 19, a Bedug Festival was held at night which was followed by a torch parade.
"On March 12, there will be a Hijab Fashion Show in Tanah Abang. Then, on the 19th, there will be a bedug festival at night and also a torch parade," said Pramono.
Not only that, the DKI Provincial Government also provides various attractive promos, including free public transportation and discounts at shopping centers so that all people can enjoy the Lebaran holiday in the capital.
