Iran Arrests 30 US-Israeli Intelligence, 2 Persian Gulf States Allegedly Involved
JAKARTA - The Iranian Intelligence Ministry said it had arrested 30 spies suspected of carrying out espionage acts in collaboration with the US and Israel.
According to the ministry, quoted by the Tasnim news agency, dozens of people have acted as operational agents for the US and Israel in recent days.
The ministry also identified one of the dozens of people arrested as a foreign national who allegedly provided sensitive security information to two "Persian Gulf governments".
After that, the sensitive information was conveyed to the US and Israel who were launching a massive military operation against Iran since February 28, 2026.
Meanwhile, for the other 19 people, the Iranian Intelligence Ministry described them as "field agents and media associated with anti-government elements and contacts from Israel".
