In This City, Vaccine Certificate Is A Requirement For Residents To Receive Social Assistance
ACEH - Mayor of Subulussalam, Aceh, Affan Alfian Bintang has set the conditions for receiving social assistance (bansos) for people in his area, namely having a COVID-19 vaccine certificate.
"The vaccine certificate is a condition for receiving social assistance from the local government. If it has not been vaccinated, then the assistance will be postponed," said Affan Alfian Bintang in Subulussalam, quoted by Antara, Thursday, June 3.
To get the certificate, said the Mayor, the Subulussalam City Government held a mass vaccination program for the people in the area nicknamed Sada Kata.
"This activity is centered in Beringin Field, Simpang Kiri District, Subulussalam City. People can come and get vaccinated against the COVID-19 vaccine," said Affan Alfian Bintang.
In addition to Beringin Field, Simpang District, mass vaccinations were also carried out simultaneously in four other sub-districts namely Penanggalan, Rundeng, Longkib, and Sultan Daulat.
"This vaccination is a national government program to break the chain of transmission and spread of COVID-19. Therefore, we invite the public to participate in the vaccination," said the Mayor.
The mass vaccination will be held for five days, from 3 to 7 June. The vaccine provided is 1,120 doses. Meanwhile, the daily target is 200 people who get the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Mayor of Subulussalam appealed to the public not to be afraid of being vaccinated because it was confirmed that it was safe and halal. This vaccine builds immunity against COVID-19.
In addition to undergoing vaccination, Affan Alfian Bintang also reminded the public to always apply health protocols, such as wearing masks, maintaining distance, not crowding, and washing hands frequently.
"The COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing, so in addition to undergoing vaccination, health protocols are still being followed. Health protocols are an effective way to break the chain of spread of COVID-19," said Affan Alfian Bintang.
