Domestic Consumption Booster, Hippindo and Lazada Give 70 Percent Discount at BINA 2026
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Association of Retailers and Mall Tenants (Hippindo) officially started the national program "Shop in Indonesia Aja" (BINA) Lebaran 2026.
Collaborating with the e-commerce platform Lazada, the program targets a fantastic transaction value of IDR 53.38 trillion during the Ramadan and Idulfitri 1447 H/2026 period.
The General Chair of Hippindo Budihardjo Iduansjah explained that the program aims to focus on spending by the people in the country to strengthen the fundamentals of the national economy in the midst of global uncertainty.
The program, which runs from March 6-30, 2026, involves more than 400 shopping centers and 80,000 outlets across Indonesia.
"Through the BINA Lebaran 2026 program, more than 400 shopping centers and around 80,000 outlets throughout Indonesia present various attractive promos with discounts of up to 70 percent," said Budihardjo in a written statement, Tuesday, March 10.
Budihardjo emphasized the importance of integration between the retail and tourism sectors. Through synergy with the "Proud to Travel in Indonesia" movement, Hippindo hopes that the increase in the movement of travelers and tourists can be directly proportional to the growth of domestic shopping transactions.
Although there are delays in the supply of some imported products ahead of Eid, Budihardjo ensured that the availability of local product stocks was maintained.
He also encouraged stronger cross-ministerial coordination to maintain the smooth supply chain of the retail industry.
"We encourage stronger coordination between ministries and agencies, so that the availability of goods can be maintained and the momentum of retail sales in periods such as Ramadan, Chinese New Year, Cap Go Meh and Eid, can be optimally utilized to strengthen national economic growth," he said.
In line with Budihardjo, Head of Government Affairs Lazada Indonesia Yovan Sudarma stated, his commitment in supporting the digital transformation of offline retail. The collaboration is expected to create a closer channel integration through the Online to Offline approach so that the momentum of Lebaran consumption is more optimal.
"We support Indonesian local brands and MSMEs to expand market reach through technology capabilities and data-based approaches," he explained.
Lazada believes that the synergy between the government, associations and industry players through the BINA program can increase the competitiveness of local business players sustainably, as well as become an economic stronghold against foreign market turmoil.
