Arnold Schwarzenegger Confirms Predator and Conan the Barbarian Movie Sequels

JAKARTA - Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed that he was discussing acting in three of his iconic films, namely Predator, Conan the Barbarian, and Commando. This project was revealed when he spoke at the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus some time ago.

"They're working on Predator and the director (Dan Trachtenberg) is doing a good job. Now, he wants me to join the next Predator film. We've talked about it," said Arnold Schwarzenegger, launching Variety.

"The fact is, Fox Studios found Arnold. They came to me and said "We want you to join Predator, we have a script for you in Commando 2," he explained.

In addition, the 78-year-old actor also revealed that the production house was working on the film King Conan and was written by the person who made the films played by Tom Cruise.

"The production company is recruiting a director/writer who has worked on four Tom Cruise films to write and direct King Conan," he said.

Apparently, Schwarzenegger mentioned Christopher McQuarrie who collaborated with Tom Cruise in several Mission: Impossible films.

"Now, what they're doing is writing the part. They're not writing it like I'm still 40 years old. I'm still going to be in action but it's different. With "King Conan" this is the old story of Conan who is 40 years old and he is forced out of the kingdom, there is certainly conflict but he will come back and various madness, violence, miracles and things like that," said Arnold Schwarzenegger.

"Production houses now have a lot to make the film bigger so I look forward to the whole project," he said.

Schwarzenegger played Conan in the films Conan the Barbarian and Conan the Destroyer. Both films were the first in a franchise he would play.
