JAKARTA - A woman commuter line passenger screamed hysterically after being harassed by a man while in a crowded train car.

"Can you stop your hand. Sir, please, sir, sir," the victim shouted hysterically, quoted from a video circulating, Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

In fact, it didn't stop there, it turned out that the perpetrator's hand was also suspected of groping the victim's body during the crowded car situation.

After the victim screamed, the perpetrator immediately raised his left hand, which was previously suspected to be on the victim's body. The perpetrator's face also suddenly panicked after several passengers looked at the perpetrator's face.

"His hand went in," said the victim while crying hysterically.

Responding to the incident, KAI Commuter Public Relations Manager, Leza Arlan confirmed the information. The incident occurred on Monday, March 9 at 06.30 WIB inside the commuter line.

Leza said KAI Commuter regretted and was concerned about the sexual violence that occurred. KAI Commuter will not tolerate any form of sexual violence that occurs both within the Commuter Line and at the Station.

"Based on the report received, currently our officers are conducting a search through CCTV and confirmation with the victim, for further inclusion in the CCTV analytic database, where this CCTV can detect the face of the suspected perpetrator who committed a criminal act," said Leza when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday afternoon.

KAI Commuter will accompany the victim to report and hand over the perpetrator to the authorities to continue the legal process.

"KAI Commuter will also provide psychological assistance to the victims, to strengthen the victims," he said.
