Vidi Aldiano's Family Grateful for His Death in the Holy Month of Ramadan
JAKARTA - The departure of singer Vidi Aldiano left a deep sadness, but for his mother, Besbarini, there was a sense of gratitude behind the sadness.
Vidi breathed his last breath in the holy month of Ramadan, coinciding with the moment of Nuzulul Quran which is believed to be a night of blessings.
Besbarini revealed how calm the procession of the son's return to the day of the Lord was.
"Alhamdulillah, everything is calm and goes smoothly without obstacles. We are all gathered, because we are all gathered, Vidi departs at the Power," said Besbarini at the Tanah Kusir TPU, South Jakarta, Monday, March 9.
The large family, including his wife Sheila Dara, was present to accompany him in the last moments of the singer of the song Nuansa Bening.
"We are all present, complete with Papa Mama and his wife, Vidi's younger brothers with their wives, in-laws, and from Sheila, his family as well. Alhamdulillah," he said in a firm tone.
The mother never stops giving thanks for the love God gave her son until the end of his life.
"Aunt feels a happiness that God gives, feels God's extraordinary love for Vidi and for all of us in the family," continued Besbarini.
Remembering Vidi's figure, Besbarini called his son a very sweet person during their 34 years of togetherness.
"The figure of the child who can really make us as parents, thank God, I am very grateful to be given the opportunity to accompany for 34 years less. Vidi is a very romantic person," he recalled.
Regarding the health condition before his death, his mother explained that Vidi had indeed experienced a gradual decline in condition.
"Slowly he dropped. Yes, from his illness, it was what made him have to go to a quieter place," he explained briefly about Vidi's struggle against his illness.
Besbarini also greatly appreciates the loyalty of his daughter-in-law, Sheila Dara, who continues to accompany Vidi in the most difficult conditions.
"His wife is also very loyal, thank God I have a good son-in-law. Sheila is also ready to accompany, everything is sincere," praised Besbarini for Sheila.
Support from friends and the community has also strengthened the family in the midst of this grief.
"Aunt wants to say thank you for all the support Vidi has given during the work, the fight, Vidi's struggle. Thank you very much and I also heard that there are many who also read Yasin, secret prayers, yes," he said tearfully.
