OKI Condemns Increasing Violence by Israeli Settlers in the West Bank
JAKARTA - The General Secretariat (Setjen) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemns the continued crimes in the form of murder, incitement, settlement expansion, and organized terrorism carried out by extremist settler groups under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.
The actions that are increasingly being carried out at this time, have caused a number of Palestinians to be killed and others injured in several villages in the occupied West Bank.
The OKI General Secretariat emphasized that the heinous crime was a continuation of the systematic crimes committed by the Israeli occupation, which was based on the policies of expulsion, annexation, and settlement construction, as well as attempts to impose so-called Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territories.
Reported by ANTARA from WAFA-OANA, Monday, March 9, the action was considered a clear violation of international humanitarian law and international legitimacy resolutions.
The OKI General Secretariat again calls on the international community to immediately intervene to stop all crimes and violations that continue in the Palestinian territories, as well as impose clear and firm sanctions on Israel's colonial settlement project.
