Approved by the Minister of PU, the Semarang-Batang Toll Rate Increased to Rp33,000

JAKARTA - The Semarang-Batang toll road has experienced a tariff adjustment alias increase. The toll tariff will increase starting March 7, 2026 starting at 00.00 WIB.

The adjustment of tariffs in 2026 is a non-regular (special) adjustment implemented based on the results of investment feasibility studies and evaluation of business plans and is not based on annual inflation.

The adjustment of the tariff is based on the Decree of the Minister of Public Works (Kepmen PU) Number 18 KPTS/M/2026 dated January 7, 2026 concerning the Determination of Motor Vehicle Type and Adjustment of Toll Tariffs on the Semarang-Batang Toll Road, will be implemented. adjustment of the tariff on the Semarang-Batang Toll Road.

"All adjustments are made while still referring to the provisions in the Semarang-Batang Toll Road Operating Agreement accompanied by a continued commitment to improve the quality of services, comfort and safety of road users," wrote the management of PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang quoted from the Instagram account @official.jsb_ statement, Monday, March 9.

The fare for Group I vehicles from Batang/Pasekaran to Kalikangkung/Semarang is Rp. 144,500 from the previous Rp. 111,500. Thus, the fare for Group I has increased by Rp. 33,000.

Then, for groups II and III with the same route, it is Rp216,500 from the previous Rp167,500. Next, for groups IV and V, it is set at Rp289,000 from the previous Rp223,000.

The adjustment of the tariff was also conveyed by the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of Public Works (PU) through its Instagram, which stated that the adjustment of the Semarang-Batang Toll tariff would be effective from March 7, 2026 at 00.00 WIB.

"JSB is committed to continue providing the best service through optimal road maintenance, improvement of construction quality and fulfillment of Minimum Service Standards (SPM) in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, in order to support safe and comfortable travel for all road users," he added.

Before passing through the toll road, road users are advised to ensure fuel and electronic money balances.

Here are the Semarang-Batang toll rates from Batang/Pasekaran to Kalikangkung/Semarang:

1. Group I: From Rp111,500 to Rp144,500

2. Group II & III: From Rp167,500 to Rp216,500

3. Group IV & V: From Rp223,000 to Rp289,000
