Janice Tjen Eliminated in the 16th Round of the 2026 Indian Wells Women's Doubles
JAKARTA - Indonesian women's tennis player Janice Tjen, returned in the 16th round of the women's doubles event at the 2026 Indian Wells tennis event with her partner from China Taipei, Chan Hao Ching.
They picked up their bags from the WTA 1000-level tournament after losing to the American-Spanish pair, Nicole Melichar-Martinez/Christina Bucsa, with a final score of 7-6 (10), 4-6, and 5-10 on Monday, March 9, 2026.
Janice/Chan lost the service in the first game and then couldn't stop the opponent in the second game, falling 0-2 at the start of the first set. They then managed to steal the third game, but couldn't take advantage of four break points in the next game.
