Complete All England 2026 Results: A Historic Day for China Taipei

JAKARTA - China Taipei managed to bring home two titles from the 2026 All England event, one from the men's singles and one from the mixed doubles. It was their third title in the history of the tournament and the first for both sectors.

The peak party of the world's oldest badminton tournament completed the match on Sunday, March 8, 2026, WIB night. China Taipei and China dominated the final of this BWF Super 1000 event with each getting two titles.

In mixed doubles, the title was secured by the pair of Ye Hong Wei/Nicole Gonzales Chan. They managed to make a surprise by defeating the fifth seed from France, Thom Gicquel/Delphine Delrue, in a two-game match 21-19 and 21-18.

"We've never won against them before. So, this is an amazing result, very emotional," Ye said after the historic victory as quoted from the BWF website.

This is the first BWF Super 1000 title in the mixed doubles career, completing the BWF Super 300 and 100 they have achieved. Previously, their best journey at the BWF Super 500 to 1000 level was to reach the semifinals.

"From Super 500 to Super 1000, I think the best result we have ever achieved is reaching the semifinals. I think today is a very exciting moment and an incredible achievement," said Ye.

China Taipei's historic day was then completed by men's singles badminton player Lin Chun Yi who fell after the mixed doubles match. The 26-year-old badminton player defeated Lakshya Sen from India in a two-game match 21-15 and 22-20.

This is his first BWF Super 1000 crown and also completes the BWF Super 750 trophy from the India Open which he won in January 2026. This result makes Lin automatically rise to the top of the BWF Race to Finals rankings.

"Winning (All England) is a dream come true. I remember during the Covid-19 period, watching my teammates play in this tournament. I was so happy watching it on television that now I can play and win it is really amazing," said Lin.

This victory makes the three of them automatically join Tai Tzu Ying who previously had the status as the only All England title winner from China Taipei. The former world number one won two titles there.

Meanwhile, China won two titles through the women's doubles Liu Sheng Shu/Tan Ning and the women's singles Wang Zhi Yi who stopped world number one An Se-young. Another title from the men's doubles was won by the pair Kim Won-ho/Seo Seung-jae from South Korea.
