Until This Afternoon, 15 RW in West Jakarta Still Under Water

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded 15 RT in Jakarta still submerged in flood this afternoon due to rain pouring over the DKI Jakarta area since Saturday, March 7 evening.

"The latest information on the puddles until 12.00 WIB, BPBD recorded that BPBD currently has 148 RT and 20 roads flooded," said Head of the BPBD DKI Jakarta's Data and Information Center, M. Yohan, in his statement, Monday, March 9.

The affected area data are as follows: 1. Duri Kosambi Village Number: 3 RT Water height: ± 50 cm Cause: high rainfall and overflow of Kali Semanan

2. Rawa Buaya Village Number: 7 RT Water level: ± 50 cm Cause: high rainfall

3. Jelambar Village Number: 1 RT Water level: ± 30 cm Cause: high rainfall and overflow of Kali Grogol

4. Kembangan Selatan Village Number: 2 RT Water level: ± 50 cm Cause: high rainfall and overflow of the Kali Pelopor Dam Kali

5. Kembangan Utara Village Number: 2 RT Water level: ± 70 cm Cause: high rainfall and overflow of the river

Some residents affected by the flood have also fled to a number of temporary shelters. In Kedaung Kali Angke Village, refugees are spread across three points, namely the Jami Al Khaeer Mosque with 11 families (KK) or 28 people, the Uswatun Hasanah Mosque with 20 KK or 50 people, and the Jami Al Fudhollah Mosque with 13 KK or 60 people.

Meanwhile, in the South Kembangan Village, refugees are at the At Taqwa Mosque with 27 households or 80 people, and at the Darul Muhyi Council with 13 households or 50 people.

In the North Kembangan Village, residents were evacuated at the Jami Al Ikhlas Mosque and At Tihanah Mushola with a total of 36 households or 108 people, and in the Literacy Room and SDN 05/08 as many as 13 households or 33 people. In addition, some of the refugees were also accommodated at the SDSN 01 Morning School.

Meanwhile, in Jelambar Village, refugees were recorded at the At Taqwa Mosque with 10 heads of households or around 30 people.

Meanwhile, the road section that is still flooded is on Jalan Kapuk Muara Raya, Kapuk Muara Village and the red light outside Kembangan Raya, Kembangan South Village.

"The height of the water on the road sections that are still flooded ranges from 15 to 50 cm. The cause is high rainfall and overflow of the Angke River," said Yohan.
