Limited by Ticket Sales, Rich Brian Batal Continues European Tour
JAKARTA - Brian Imanuel Soewarno or better known as Rich Brian, decided to cancel several performances in Europe and Great Britain for his world tour series titled "Where Is My Head? World Tour".
Through an Instagram Story upload, the Indonesian rapper based in Los Angeles, United States also apologized to his fans who had already bought tickets.
"Europe - I'm so sorry, but we've made the difficult decision to cancel the upcoming tour," Brian wrote, quoted Monday, March 9.
"I understand how disappointing this is, especially for those who have made travel plans to see the show," he continued.
The reason for the cancellation is the minimal ticket sales. Brian said that the losses that would be faced would be very large if the tour continued to Europe and Great Britain.
"The reality is that ticket sales are not enough to cover the cost of bringing the show to Europe," the rapper said.
"I really tried to keep touring even if it meant losing some money because I love performing and I miss being on the road and seeing you all, and for me it's worth it not to always make a profit. But after further calculations, the losses would be too great to justify continuing the tour," he added.
Brian also hopes to really bring his show to Europe, while ensuring that refunds will be given to those who have bought tickets.
"I will try my best to get back to you and find a solution in the near future," Brian said.
"You will receive a refund to your original payment method within 30 days. Thank you for your understanding," he concluded.
Previously, Rich Brian was scheduled to tour Europe and the United Kingdom through a show held in Dublin, Ireland on March 19.
Furthermore, the tour is scheduled to dock in London, Paris, and Cologne. However, with the latest announcement, the schedule is confirmed to be canceled.
