This Afternoon, 74 RTs and 14 Streets in Jakarta Are Still Under Water
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded 74 RT in West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta, as well as 14 roads still submerged in flood due to rain pouring over the DKI Jakarta area since Saturday, March 7 evening to this morning.
"The latest information on the puddles until 17.00 WIB, BPBD recorded that BPBD currently has 74 RT and 15 roads flooded," said Head of the BPBD DKI Jakarta's Data and Information Center, M. Yohan, in his statement, Sunday, March 8.
In West Jakarta there are 31 RT that are flooded, consisting of:
- Kedaung Kali Angke Village: 4 RT
Height: 65 to 70 cm
- Rawa Buaya Village: 9 RT
Height: 60 to 120 cm
- Jelembar Baru Village: 1 RT
Height: 20 cm
- Kebon Jeruk Village: 1 RT
Height: 15 cm
- Kedoya South Village: 4 RT
Height: 60 cm
- Kedoya Utara Village: 4 RT
Height: 20 cm
- Joglo Village: 1 RT
Height: 65 cm
- South Kembangan Village: 5 RT
Height: 50 to 70 cm
- North Kembangan Village: 2 RT
Height: 50 cm
Cause: High Rainfall
In South Jakarta, there are 12 RT that are flooded, consisting of:
- Kuningan Barat Village: 9 RT
Height: 30 to 80 cm
- Pela Mampang Village: 1 RT
Height: 30 cm
- Duren Tiga Village: 2 RT
Height: 40 cm
In East Jakarta, there are 31 RT that are flooded, consisting of:
- Kel. Pondok Bambu: 1 RT
Height: 10 cm
- Kel. Ciinang Melayu: 12 RT
Height: 20 to 50 cm
- Kel. Halim Perdana Kusuma: 15 RT
Height: 30 to 70 cm
- Kel. Kebon Pala: 3 RT
Height: 20 cm
"The cause of the puddle is high rainfall and the overflow of the Kali Pelopor Dam, Kali Mampang, Kali Krukut, and Kali Sunter," said Yohan.
A number of residents have been displaced at several points due to today's flooding. In Kedaung Kali Angke Village, the displaced are at the Jami Al Fudhollah Mosque with 13 families (KK) or 60 people. Meanwhile, in the North Kembangan Village, 11 KK or 30 people were displaced at the Jami Al Ikhlas Mosque.
In Kuningan Barat Village, refugees are spread across four locations. The details are, in Musollah Al Husnah there are 2 KK or 4 souls, in Nurul Hidayah there are 83 KK or 330 souls, in Nurul Yaqin there are 25 KK or 100 souls, and in the Baitussalam Mosque there are 12 KK or 50 souls.
Meanwhile, in Pejaten Barat Village, refugees also occupy a number of points. In the Arrahman Mosque, 123 KK or 208 people were recorded, in the residents' flats 41 KK or 77 people, in the Assalam Mosque 50 KK or 66 people, and in the Al Inayah RT 13 RW 08 Mosque 46 KK or 72 people.

10. Jalan Puri Kembangan (depan SMK Budi Murni), Kelurahan Kedoya Selatan

Currently, the BPBD DKI Jakarta is deploying personnel to monitor the condition of the puddles in each area and coordinate the elements of the Water Resources Agency, the Road Construction Agency, the Gulkarmat Agency to carry out the suction of puddles and ensure that the water lines function properly together with the local sub-district heads and sub-district heads as well as prepare basic needs for survivors.
"The puddles are targeted to recede quickly. BPBD DKI appeals to the public to remain cautious and alert to the potential of puddles," he said.
