Heavy Rain Since Last Night, 148 RTs and 20 Streets in Jakarta Flooded This Afternoon

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded 148 RT in Jakarta flooded with water levels reaching 1.5 meters due to rain pouring over the DKI Jakarta area since Saturday, March 7 evening to this morning.

"The latest information on the puddles until 12.00 WIB, BPBD recorded that BPBD currently has 148 RT and 20 roads flooded," said Head of the BPBD DKI Jakarta's Data and Information Center, M. Yohan, in his statement, Sunday, March 8.

In West Jakarta there are 33 RT that are flooded, consisting of: - Kedaung Kali Angke Village: 4 RT Water height: 80 cm Cause: High rainfall

- Rawa Buaya Village: 9 RT Water level: 60-120 cm Cause: High rainfall

- Jelembar Baru Village: 1 RTKetinggian air: 40 cmPenyebab: Curah hujan tinggi

- Kebon Jeruk Village: 1 RT Water level: 40 cm Cause: High rainfall

Kedoya Selatan Village: 4 RT Water level: 100 cm Cause: Heavy rainfall

- Kedoya Utara Village: 4 RT Water level: 20 cm Cause: High rainfall

- South Sukabumi Village: 2 RTWater level: 100 cmCause: High rainfall

- Duren Tiga Village: 3 RT Water level: 80-150 cm Cause: High rainfall

- Cilandak Timur Village: 2 RT Water level: 30-80 cm Cause: High rainfall

- Pejaten Barat Village: 4 RT Water level: 30-40 cm Cause: High rainfall and overflow of PHB Serua River

In East Jakarta there are 60 RT that are flooded, consisting of: - Kampung Rambutan Village: 2 RT Water level: 50 cm Cause: High rainfall and overflow of Kali PHB

- Pondok Bambu Village: 1 RT Water level: 70 cm Cause: High rainfall and overflow of Kali Sunter

- Bidara Cina Village: 4 RT Water level: 50-70 cm Cause: High rainfall and overflow of Ciliwung River

- Kampung Melayu Village: 16 RT Water level: 80-125 cm Cause: High rainfall

Jalan Meruya Selatan, Meruya Selatan Village 5. Jalan Daan Mogot (Seskoal), Cipulir Village 6. Jalan Ciledug Raya (kolong ITC), Cipulir Village 7. Jalan Ciledug Raya (SPBU Shell), Ulujami Village 8. Jalan Bintaro Permai Raya (H. Gari), Pesanggrahan Village 9. Jalan Kramat Raya, Tugu Utara Village 10. Jalan Rawa Indah RT 003 RW 003, Pegangsaan Dua Village 11. Jalan Karet Pasar Baru Barat I, Karet Tengsin Village, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta 12. Jalan Petamburan II, Petamburan Village, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta 13. Currently, the BPBD DKI Jakarta is deploying personnel to monitor the condition of the puddles in each area and coordinate the elements of the Water Resources Agency, the Road Construction Agency, the Gulkarmat Agency to carry out the suction of puddles and ensure that the water lines function properly together with the local sub-district heads and sub-district heads as well as prepare basic needs for survivors.

"The puddles are targeted to recede quickly. BPBD DKI appeals to the public to remain cautious and alert to the potential of puddles," he said.
