US Credit Card Company Offers Emergency Travel in the Middle East
JAKARTA - A credit card company from the United States (US) offers a relief package to its customers who are going on an emergency trip in the Middle East.
NBC News reported, Saturday, March 7, credit card company American Express has sent text messages to its customers believed to be in the Middle East.
"We are aware of the ongoing travel disruption," the company said in a statement.
The company, in addition to providing emergency travel assistance, also offers other needs amid the heating of the regional situation due to the US-Israeli attack on Iran.
American Express said it contacted customers when records indicated they might be traveling in the area.
"It has been a challenge for our customers and our travel consultants to work diligently to provide support," the statement said.
