Yura Yunita Reveals the Dream of Haji with Vidi Aldiano who Now Lives in Memories
JAKARTA - A very touching story was revealed from the friendship between Yura Yunita and the late Vidi Aldiano, whom she called Babe.
Turns out, the two had an appointment to meet this afternoon, a promise that will now never come true.
Yura Yunita said that she and Vidi had made an appointment to meet at four o'clock in the afternoon. This meeting was supposed to be their moment to miss each other after Yura returned from the umroh pilgrimage.
"It's true that this afternoon at four o'clock you want to meet," said Yura at the Tanah Kusir TPU, South Jakarta, Sunday, March 8.
However, fate had other plans. The meeting they had planned was actually to be a farewell meeting.
"But it turns out that the meeting was immediately at the last resting place," he continued, unable to hold back his sadness.
This unfulfilled promise is a regret in itself. A moment that should have been filled with laughter and stories, now must be replaced with tears and prayers.
Apart from the promise to meet, Yura also revealed that they have a big dream together.
"The last dream we had was to go to the Hajj together," he said.
The dream to be able to worship the hajj together is now just a memory. A noble dream that must be stopped by fate.
While in the Holy Land, Yura even wrote something in front of the Ka'bah to pray for the recovery of his best friend.
Upon arriving in Indonesia in the morning, Yura immediately rushed to the funeral home. "I just went to the funeral home," he said.
He also did not miss the opportunity to participate in the funeral of his best friend at the mosque.
"Sempet ke masjid, sholatin, sholatin Babe," lanjutnya.
For him, being able to deliver Babe to the grave was the last honor he could give.
"Alhamdulillah, I managed to follow him to the grave," he said.
In the midst of grief, Yura actually saw a beauty. He saw his friend's face looking so calm and peaceful.
"It's beautiful. Babe is so handsome," he said, describing the last scene he saw.
He also felt this beauty because Vidi passed away at a very good time. He died in the holy month of Ramadan, on the day of the Nuzulul Quran.
"Alhamdulillah, he died beautifully, on a beautiful day, on the day the Quran was revealed," said Yura.
This is what makes him sure that his best friend has passed away in the best condition.
"So God willing, husnul khotimah, Babe," he prayed.
