Jakarta Waspada Banjir, BPBD Naikkan Status Angke Hulu Siaga 1
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) informed that the status of the Angke Hulu monitoring post was raised to Danger or Alert 1 on Sunday morning, March 8.
Quoted from the DKI Jakarta BPBD X social media page, the water level of the Angke Hulu monitoring post at 01.00 WIB was at a height of 300 cm with a status of Alert or Alert 2.
At 02.00 WIB, the water level of the Angke Hulu monitoring post rose to 340 cm, with a Dangerous status or alert 1.
"Anticipate that in about 3 hours the water will reach the Cengkareng Drain Water Gate. The areas that will be traversed by the river flow are as follows: South Kembangan, Duri Kosambi, Rawa Buaya, North Kembangan, Kedaung Kaliangke, East Cengkareng, Kapuk, Kapuk Muara, and Kamal Muara," wrote BPBD in the official X account @BPBDJakarta, quoted by Antara.
Currently, the Angke Hulu monitoring post is in standby status 1 with the weather in rainy conditions.
BPBD DKI Jakarta has disseminated information through social media, Disaster Early Warning Systems, and notifications to the camat and lurah about the increase in the status of the Angke Hulu monitoring post.
In an emergency, the public is urged to contact the Jakarta Siaga call center at number 112.
Other floodgates locations, namely the Fish Market, Karet Floodgate, and Hulu Sunter Post, are informed of their status as Alert or Alert 2. Meanwhile, Manggarai West Canal Flood (BKB) is informed of its status as Alert or Alert 3.
Meanwhile, at other water gates, including Katulampa, Depok, Krukut Hulu, Pesanggrahan, Pluit Dam, Cipinang Hulu, and Pulo Gadung, it was informed that they were in normal or alert 4 status.
