M 7.7 Earthquake Hits Lebong Bengkulu

JAKARTA - A magnitude 5.7 earthquake shook Lebong Regency, Bengkulu on Saturday, March 7 at 23.58 WIB.

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported that the epicenter was on land 64 km west of Lebong.

The coordinates of the earthquake were 2.99 South Latitude (LS) and 101.63 East Longitude (BT), with a depth of 47 km.

BMKG reminded that aftershocks might occur.
