IKA Chairman Fathan Subchi encourages collaboration between FISIP Moestopo alumni, Ecuadorian diplomat to attend
JAKARTA - Member of the VI of the Financial Audit Agency (BPK RI) and Chairman of the Alumni Association (IKA) of the Postgraduate Program of the Prof. Dr. Moestopo University (Religious), Fathan Subchi, encouraged the strengthening of collaboration between the campus and alumni while attending a gathering and breaking the fast together at the Moestopo Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Friday (6/3/2026).
Fathan assessed that forums like this are important to maintain relations between the academic community as well as opening up space for alumni contributions to campus development.
"This activity strengthens the relationship and communication between lecturers, employees, and alumni so that they continue to contribute to the progress of Moestopo University," said Fathan.
He also touched on the position of the campus, which is in a strategic area of Jakarta. According to him, this provides a wide opportunity for the campus to build partnerships with various institutions, including government agencies and international institutions.
The event was also attended by the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Ecuador in Indonesia, Pablo Bonifaz Arboleda. He expressed his appreciation for the invitation from FISIP Moestopo and hoped that relations between the Embassy of Ecuador and the university could develop, especially in educational cooperation and international collaboration.
Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Moestopo University Foundation, Sunarto, on the same occasion reminded the meaning of Ramadan as a space to improve attitudes and behaviors. He assessed that fasting is not only to control hunger and thirst, but also to maintain speech and actions.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Moestopo University, Ryantori, explained the development of the faculty, which now has four study programs, including the Master's Program and the Public Administration Doctoral Program.
"We hope that this activity will strengthen the unity of the academic community and encourage the progress of the faculty," said Ryantori.
The event continued with a tausiah by Solihin. He explained that the name "Moestopo" means "choice", with the hope that this university will be the people's choice in pursuing education.
In this activity, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Moestopo University also provided assistance to the orphans who were present. This activity was attended by lecturers, employees, alumni, and representatives of the Embassy of Ecuador in Indonesia.
