President Prabowo Weeps See Aid for Palestinians from Indonesia

Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto was touched and cried when he expressed his deep appreciation to the National Zakat Agency (Baznas) for its major role in organizing humanitarian assistance for the Palestinian people.

The moment was recorded during the Republic of Indonesia President's meeting with the kiai and religious leaders at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Thursday, March 5.

In front of the ulama and community leaders, President Prabowo's voice trembled when expressing his gratitude. He assessed that Baznas has become a symbol of the concern of the Indonesian nation and Muslims in helping brothers in Palestine.

President Prabowo also expressed the government's support in the process of sending humanitarian aid.
