Sido Muncul Shares Love with 1,000 Orphans in Jakarta

JAKARTA - PT Industri Jamu Dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO), shares love with 1,000 orphans in Jakarta by providing assistance worth Rp. 200 million.

The assistance was symbolically handed over by the Director of PT Industri Jamu Dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk, DR. (H.C) Irwan Hidayat to representatives of orphans from 15 Institutions or Foundations, witnessed by the South Cipete Village Head Supriono, at the Sido Muncul Jakarta office, Thursday, March 6.

The 15 foundations are Al-Ikhlas Cipete, Mizan Amanah Cilandak, Pengajian H. Saidi, Mizan Cipete Utara Orphanage, Al-Andalusia Foundation, Ta'lim At Taufik Assembly, Ta'lim Al Muawwanah Assembly, Al Ittihadiyah, Panti Yasni (Sejahtera Insani Foundation), Pundi Amal Dermawan Indonesia Foundation, Yos Sudarso Orphanage, Mizan Pasar Minggu, Mizan Karang Tengah, Panti Asuhan Anak Yatim Piatu Muslim Nusantara Foundation, and Cipete Selatan Village.

Sido Muncul Director Irwan Hidayat said that this assistance is a form of gratitude that the company can share, where in the run-up to its 75th birthday in November, Sido Muncul can provide benefits to others.

"We are very grateful to be able to share with orphans in the Cipete area and its surroundings. The assistance we provide is in the form of cash worth Rp. 200 million, each child will receive two hundred thousand rupiah," said Irwan Hidayat.

"Ramadan is a blessed month, so for us this is an opportunity to do good and share happiness, especially for orphans. The reason is, however small the assistance provided will certainly be beneficial to the recipient," added Irwan.

In addition to assistance for 1,000 orphans in Jakarta, similar assistance will also be provided by Sido Muncul to 1,000 kaum duafa in the Semarang area in the coming week.

"We have routinely carried out this activity since ten years ago in Semarang. Meanwhile, in Jakarta this is the fifth year. We are very grateful and hope that through this compensation we can be useful and help a small part of their needs, especially in welcoming the Eid," said Irwan Hidayat.
