2026 Lebaran Homecoming, Tiket Ferizy Harus Dibeli H-1 untuk Penyeberangan Bakauheni-Merak

JAKARTA - The 2026 Lebaran homecoming flow is expected to trigger a surge in community mobility on the busiest national crossing, Bakauheni-Merak. To support the smooth running of the trip, the public is required to buy a crossing ticket through the Ferizy platform no later than one day before departure.

Based on the operational projection of the 2026 Lebaran Transportation (1447 H), as many as 108,952 pedestrian passengers and 353,901 vehicles are estimated to cross from Bakauheni Port to Merak Port during this year's service period.

The route connecting Sumatra and Java Islands is a vital route in supporting community mobility as well as national logistics distribution. Therefore, the smooth operation of the crossing not only depends on the readiness of operators, but also on the synergy between regulators, operators, and all stakeholders at the port.

In the Lebaran Transportation period this year, a total of 57 ships were prepared to serve crossings on the main Bakauheni-Merak route. With this fleet, it is projected that 2,949 ship trips will take place during the service period to accommodate the high mobility of the community during the homecoming and return flow periods.

Compared to the 2025 Lebaran Transportation, the movement from Sumatra to Java is expected to increase. The number of passengers is predicted to increase by 11.2 percent, vehicles by 10.5 percent, while the number of ship trips will increase by about 7 percent.

General Manager of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Main Branch Bakauheni, Partogi Tamba said that the operational arrangement of the crossing during the Lebaran period was under the authority of the regulator.

"The arrangement of the ship's operating schedule, service capacity, to the management of crossing traffic is the authority of the regulator, namely KSOP or BPTD. ASDP as an operator fully supports this policy through intensive coordination so that services during Lebaran Transportation can run safely, orderly, and smoothly," said Partogi in a statement. official, Friday, March 6.

Partogi said the Lebaran Transportation Post was scheduled to take place from March 13 to 31, 2026. During this period, the dynamics of the flow are expected to be quite high because it intersects with two major momentum, namely Nyepi Day on March 18 to 19, 2026 and Idulfitri Day on March 21 to 22, 2026.

To anticipate congestion during the return flow, the government will also implement operational arrangements in accordance with the Joint Decree (SKB) across agencies. In the period 23-29 March 2026, the Bakauheni Port is prioritized to serve pedestrian passengers and vehicles of Group I to VI A to Merak Port.

Meanwhile, large logistics vehicles of V B to IX will be diverted through the BBJ Muara Pilu Port to Bojonegoro to reduce the potential for density on the main track. The sale of tickets for logistics vehicles is also temporarily stopped at the Bakauheni Port for departure from March 23 at 00.00 WIB until March 29, 2026 at 24.00 WIB.

During this period, a single tariff policy (single tariff) was also implemented which applies as a regular tariff. Partogi also urges the public to plan their trip from far in advance by buying tickets early through the Ferizy platform.

"The principle is No Ticket, No Ride. Tickets must have been owned at least one day before departure and can be ordered from H-60 through the application or official Ferizy channel," he explained.

To support the operation of the Lebaran Transport, ASDP has prepared 786 operational personnel and strengthened various service facilities such as buffer zones, delaying systems, CCTV, 24-hour health services, and optimizing port time to ensure smooth operation.

ASDP hopes that the public can plan their trips early and comply with the applicable operational arrangements so that the homecoming trip goes smoothly, orderly, comfortable, and safe.

Meanwhile, the Corporate Secretary of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Windy Andale said the success of the management of the Lebaran Transportation depends heavily on cross-agency collaboration.
