Motorcyclist Against Direction Threatens Man with a Stone in Pondok Labu
JAKARTA - A man received threats from a motorcyclist who was going against the direction on Jalan Margasatwa Raya, around Pondok Labu Market, Cilandak, South Jakarta, on Thursday afternoon, March 5, 2026.
The incident occurred while the man was recording traffic conditions at the location. In the circulating video footage, a motorcyclist is seen speeding from the opposite direction.
The man then honked his horn as a warning. However, the oncoming driver approached while carrying a stone, while his partner was seen carrying a stick.
After threatening, the two motorcyclists then left the location by continuing to drive against the direction.
Cilandak Police Chief Kompol Gusprihatin Zen said the police had checked the location of the crime scene (TKP) related to the incident.
"We have checked the crime scene. It was indeed a case," Zen said when confirmed by the media, Wednesday, March 6, 2026.
However, until now the victim has not made an official report to the police. The police are still trying to trace witnesses who were around the scene of the incident.
"The victim has not reported. We are still looking for witnesses who actually saw the incident," he said.
Zen explained that the incident occurred briefly on the road so it was suspected that the perpetrators were not residents of the area.
The police also appealed to the public to immediately report if they find or experience disturbances to public security and order.
"People who see the incident of kamtibmas disturbances can immediately contact the 110 call center so that it can be followed up quickly," he concluded.
