Zee Asadel and Anya Zen's Story Become a Pebalet in the Film Danur: The Last Chapter

JAKARTA - Zee Asadel and Anya Zen tell their latest characters in the film Danur: The Last Chapter. As the title suggests, this film is the end point of the Danur film produced by MD Pictures which has been successful since the first film.

The two play the role of a cyclist but they appear with different characters where Zee becomes Riri while Anya becomes Canting who is a ghost.

"Here Riri's position is Riri who is heading towards adulthood and will start a new chapter in her life and she will get married," said Zee Asadel at VOI's office some time ago.

"In the film The Last Chapter, Canting is a figure whose aura is very gripping, yes, it is frightening for Risa, Riri, and also Peter et al," added Anya Zen.

Anya and Zee act as dancers in a film with different types. Both of them try to delve into their characters as well as their ability to dance professionally in this film.

"I saw this Canting was what it used to be, which is Canting was a dancer. So and he really loves the art of dance. So people who are really dancers, that's the way it moves, the way it walks, it's gentle, maybe it's the beginning, the movements of the hands like that," explained Anya Zen.

"If you say it's really different, I don't feel like that. Because when I was practicing, I was just dancing traditional dance like 'Oh, there's a position for his feet that is similar to ballet', muternya like ballet, the big movements of his hands are all like ballet, it's really similar," Zee continued.

"We even had a practice together because besides me being a ballet dancer, I was also influenced by Canting. So I actually learned how Kak Anya's movements were, how her smile was," added Zee Asadel.

Danur: The Last Chapter, directed by Awi Suryadi, tells the story of Risa (Prilly Latuconsina) who starts to experience something and suspects that her sister, Riri (Zee Asadel) is in danger. Riri is preparing for her wedding, but through various obstacles.

Danur: The Last Chapter will be shown in Indonesian cinemas starting March 18, 2026.
