President Prabowo is ready to leave the BoP, if it is deemed not useful for Palestine

Jakarta - Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) K.H. Cholil Nafis conveyed President Prabowo Subianto's promise which was uttered during the fasting event with Islamic mass organizations at the State Palace, Jakarta, Thursday, March 5.

The commitment is that Indonesia will withdraw from the Board of Peace (BoP) membership if it is considered not useful for achieving Palestinian independence. Because according to Cholil, Indonesia's intention in the BoP is to fight for Palestinian independence.

However, Cholil said President Prabowo did not give a deadline regarding his promise.
