Jajaran Satuan Reskrim Polres Madiun menangkap oknum anggota Satpol PP Kota Madiun yang diduga melakukan penipuan dengan modus menjanjikan kelulusan masuk Politeknik Perkeretaapian Indonesia (PPI) Madiun hingga korban mengalami kerugian Rp150 juta.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Madiun Police, AKP Agus Andi Anto Prabowo, said the perpetrator with the initials HA, who was carrying out his actions, used the name of a regional official to convince the victim.

"This case is being investigated and currently its status has been raised to the investigation stage for further investigation," said AKP Agus to reporters as reported by ANTARA, Friday, March 6.

The case began with a report from the victim with the initials SP, a resident of Saradan District, Madiun Regency. SP admitted that the perpetrator HA stated that he could help the victim's child enter the Indonesian Railway Polytechnic Madiun in June 2025.

The perpetrator claimed to have a close relationship with the Mayor of Madiun for the 2019-2024 period Maidi and promised the graduation of prospective cadets through a special channel.

At that time, the perpetrator offered three remaining special lane quotas with a request for money of Rp. 300 million. The victim then handed over a deposit of Rp. 150 million in stages through transfers and cash.

To convince the victim, the perpetrator allegedly provided a receipt that listed the name and signature that was claimed to belong to the head of the regional government.

However, even though he had paid hundreds of millions, the child victim was still declared not to pass in the selection process for the PPI Madiun cadets. Feeling aggrieved, the victim then reported the incident to the Madiun Police.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Madiun City Satpol PP and Damkar Agus Purwo Widagdo, confirmed that HA was a member of his institution. However, HA's status is not a civil servant (PNS), but a part-time employee.

"It's true his name is Henri. Not a civil servant, but a part-time employee," said Agus.

Regarding the case that entangled him, his party has processed the dismissal of HA as a member of the Satpol PP and Damkar of Madiun City without tolerance. According to him, any violation of the law committed by members will be immediately taken seriously.

"Basically, if there is a violation, I will immediately fire. There is no more reprimand letter or the like. If you violate it, you will be dismissed immediately," he said.

Regarding the ongoing legal process, his party has completely handed it over to the police. Agus also reminded all members of the Satpol PP and Damkar of the City of Madiun not to commit violations of the law, both in terms of discipline and criminal acts.
