Huawei Mate X7 Officially Released in Indonesia, Getting Thinner and More Resistant to Bending

JAKARTA - Huawei officially introduced its latest folding device in Indonesia, namely the Huawei Mate X7. This device comes with a thinner size, both open and closed.

When folded, the device has a thickness of 9.5mm, three to four inches thinner than the previous generation. Meanwhile, in the open screen state, the thickness of the Huawei Mate X7 is only 4.5mm.

This folding phone also has an increase in terms of durability. The outer screen is coated with Kunlun Glass Crystal Armor which is specially designed to increase resistance to extreme scratches.

In addition, this phone uses a 3-layer composite system that is claimed to be able to dampen the impact when falling. The folding mechanism is supported by an advanced precision hinge to maintain the durability of the hinge in the long term.

Mate X7 is the first folding phone to have dual IP58 and IP59 certifications for water resistance. Huawei guarantees that this device remains safe when submerged in water two meters deep or when sprayed with high-temperature water.

For the camera, the Mate X7 is equipped with a True-to-Colour Ultra Chroma main camera that supports 17.5EV Ultra Lighting HDR technology. This system also includes a 50MP telephoto macro camera to capture sharp details from a distance.

In terms of durability, the device is powered by a silicon-carbon battery with a capacity of 5600mAh. Charging can be done quickly thanks to the 66W wired or 50W wireless super charge feature.

To keep the temperature stable, Huawei includes a component in the form of a Supercool Ultra-Large VC cooling system. This technology is combined with Graphene Heat Dissipation to handle heat when performing multi-tasking tasks.

Mate X7 is supported by wet touch support features that make the screen still work even if your hands are wet. This device also comes equipped with various Artificial Intelligence (AI) based features such as AI Remove and AI Best Expression for image editing.
