Rosan said the government focuses on building PLTS for villages

Jakarta - The Minister of Investment and Industrialization who is also the CEO of BPI Danantara Rosan Roeslani revealed the government's focus on building a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) in the village.

This was conveyed by Rosan after meeting President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Thursday, March 5.

According to Rosan, from the target of 100 gigawatt, the initial priority is around 13 gigawatt for areas that already have an electricity distribution network.

Rosan also said that there were investments that had entered since 2025 to build a factory related to the PLTS project. The value is US$1.4 billion and is targeted to be completed by the end of 2026.
