Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Assembly of the Prophet Nabiel Al Musawa: BoP is Considered Ineffective, Ask the President to Review Again
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Central Council of the Messenger of Allah, Nabiel bin Fuad Al Musawa, assessed that the existence of the Board of Peace (BoP) did not show a clear effectiveness. He suggested that the President review Indonesia's position in the forum, even opening the option to resign.
"If we think that the existence of BoP is less effective. So maybe the President needs to review it. If he can resign, it's better," said Nabiel, who was one of the heads of Islamic organizations invited by President Prabowo Subianto to break the fast at the Presidential Palace, to reporters at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, Thursday, March 5.
He said he wanted to convey the input if he had the opportunity to meet or have a direct dialogue. "Yes, hopefully if given the opportunity," he said.
Nabiel also said the President needed to hear input on the latest developments, including the BoP issue as well as the situation in Iran and America. According to him, there are many things that must be reviewed so that Indonesia's attitude is not just following the flow, but stands on clear and useful considerations.
