Mensos Gus Ipul Fired PKH Assistant who Held Social Assistance Card
Responding to allegations that the Family Hope Program (PKH) companion held cards or cut social assistance, the Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Syaifullah Yusuf or Gus Ipul confirmed that his party had taken action.
"We have taken action in several places. We have given warnings and some of them have been dismissed," he said when attending a socialization event for the National Social and Economic Single Data (DTSEN) at Cikarang Center, Bekasi Regency on Wednesday, March 4.
He reminded PKH assistants to work professionally and no longer use old ways that are detrimental to the beneficiaries. Moreover, the assistants have obtained the status of Government Employees with Work Agreements (P3K).
"It has been given the extraordinary honor to be a P3K, then it must be followed by good work. That is the president's hope. Don't mess around. Don't commit irregularities," he said.
The supervision of village data operators is under the village head structurally. Meanwhile, regarding complaints from village operators regarding salaries, the Ministry of Social Affairs said that there was support from the local government, although it was not maximal and the model was different in each region.
"Some use the village device budget because he is a village device, there are also other budgets. In Bekasi Regency this is quite good because the Regent intervened," he said.
He hopes that village heads can facilitate village data operators so that their welfare is covered so that they can work professionally.
Responding to complaints from puskesmas operators regarding changes to applications that no longer display the reason why someone is removed from the list of beneficiaries, the social security claimed to check the technical aspects. However, he ensured that the government would not make it difficult for the public.
"In principle, we will not make it difficult, but on the contrary, we will make it easier for the public and operators to obtain explanations as to why they are accepted or not accepted," he concluded.
