Mencekam Situation, Saudi Airlines Cancel Flights to 7 Countries
JAKARTA - Saudia Airlines announced that it would suspend its flights to and from seven countries, generally in the Middle East, starting Wednesday, March 4.
Citing Al Jazeera, the Saudi airline's operations were temporarily halted after the tense situation in the Middle East following the US-Israeli war against Iran.
As a result of this suspension, the fate of passengers of airlines to and from Saudi Arabia is left in limbo. They are forced to find other alternatives or wait until Saudia Airlines operations return to normal.
Saudia Airlines said the seventh country's flight was suspended after the airline had previously imposed the same situation on a number of countries.
Saudia Airlines said it had extended cancellations of flights to and from Amman, Jordan; Abu Dhabi, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE); Doha, Qatar; Bahrain; Kuwait; Moscow, Russia; to Peshawar, Pakistan.
According to the airline, the suspension of flights from the seven countries will be valid until 23.59 local time on Friday, March 6.
