War Against Iran, Israel Admits Its Economy Will Lose USD2.9 Billion per Week
JAKARTA - The Israeli economy has been impacted by the decision of the country led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to attack Iran since last weekend.
Citing Al Jazeera, Wednesday, March 4, the Israeli Ministry of Finance estimates that the economic losses of its country due to the war against Iran could reach 9 billion shekels or 2.9 billion US dollars per week.
Israel along with its allies, the United States (US), launched an attack on Iran on Saturday, February 28, amid US-Iranian nuclear negotiations mediated by Oman.
In addition to launching an attack on Iran, Israel also bombed Lebanon. Today, Israel's invasion has advanced in several positions in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli military demanded that Lebanese civilians in the south leave their homes and head north of the Litani River.
"To ensure your safety, you must immediately evacuate your homes and head north across the Litani River," an Israeli military spokesman said on X.
"Be careful: any movement south can endanger your life," he continued.
