Oppo Find X9 Ultra Specifications Leak, Equipped with Dual Periscope 200MP + 10x Zoom

JAKARTA - Details of the Oppo Find X9 Ultra camera have resurfaced in the public, and this time the focus is really on the telephoto sector. If this leak is accurate, Oppo seems to be preparing one of the most aggressive zoom systems in the flagship class.

The latest information comes from the Digital Chat Station tipster, which was then picked up by Ice Universe on Weibo. The point is one: the X9 Ultra is said to carry an ambitious dual periscope telephoto configuration.

The first lens is rumored to use a 200 megapixel sensor with a large size of 1/1.28 inches and an aperture of around f/2.2. For the telephoto camera, the size of the sensor is considered massive.

A larger sensor means better light-capturing capabilities, which are usually the weak point of long-distance zoom cameras. In theory, this can improve detail and performance in low light conditions when using zoom.

In addition, this device is also said to carry a second periscope with a resolution of 50 megapixels with an optical zoom of around 10x and a sensor size of 1/2.76 inches. The combination of these two periscopes allows for task sharing: one for medium zoom with high quality, another for extreme distance with long focal length.

Previous leaks also mentioned the possibility of using an OmniVision OV52A 200MP sensor for a 3x periscope (about 70mm), as well as a Samsung ISOCELL JN5 50MP sensor for a 10x periscope in the 230mm range.

For the main camera, Oppo is rumored to use a 200MP Sony LYT-901 sensor with a focal length of 23mm, combined with a 50MP 15mm JN5-based ultra-wide. The front camera is also said to be 50MP with autofocus.

If all of this is realized, the X9 Ultra not only plays in megapixel numbers, but also in focal length flexibility. In photography, the range of 23mm to 230mm in a pocket device is absurdly powerful. This means that one device can shoot ultra-wide landscapes, natural portraits, to distant subjects without relying too much on digital zoom.

In terms of other hardware, this device is said to carry a 2K screen and balanced flagship specifications. However, it is clear that its main selling point is the telephoto system. Oppo seems to want to push the narrative that zoom is no longer just a gimmick, but a serious creative tool.

For the launch schedule, the report says Oppo has the potential to release it in China around April 2026, possibly in conjunction with the Find X9s Pro. A global debut is expected to follow in the second quarter.

Of course, all of this is still just a rumor. In the world of smartphones, specifications can change before the official release. However, if Oppo really presents dual periscope 200MP + 10x optics in one body, the 2026 flagship photography competition can level up. Zoom is no longer about how close, but how sharp and how consistent the results are in various light conditions.
