Hassan Wirajuda Seeks President Prabowo's Efforts to Map Indonesia's Navigation in the Middle of the Conflict

Jakarta - Former Foreign Minister Hassan Wirajuda sees President Prabowo Subianto's efforts to make an Indonesian navigation map in the midst of the conflict in the Middle East, between Iran and Israel and the United States.

This was conveyed by Hassan after attending a meeting between the President and former presidents and vice presidents, diplomats, and party chairmen at the Merdeka Palace, Tuesday, March 3.

According to him, Prabowo gave an update (briefing) on various world developments, especially the latest conflicts in the Middle East. During the meeting, the implications of the conflict for Indonesia and the global order were also discussed.

Hassan assessed that the situation was a dilemma not only for Indonesia, but also for many other countries. In addition to security and peace aspects, the government also calculates the economic impact of the conflict, especially related to energy.

According to Hassan, President Prabowo and the figures also discussed the Board of Peace (BoP) which was discussed in the context of the latest developments. According to Hassan, President Prabowo opened a space for dialogue and asked for input from the figures present.
