Agency Plans for BIGBANG, BABYMONSTER, TREASURE This Year

JAKARTA - YG Entertainment revealed big plans for several of their groups in 2026. Through a video, Yang Hyun Suk as the founder spoke again to their fans.

The three groups that have plans are BIGBANG, BABYMONSTER, and TREASURE. BIGBANG as one of the senior groups at YG will undergo their global tour.

"To celebrate their 20th anniversary this year, we agreed to hold a BIGBANG performance and start a global tour," Yang Hyun Suk said in the video.

BIGBANG itself was confirmed to join the 2026 Coachella festival and G-Dragon, one of the members, mentioned plans for a group reunion this year. Although the three members are under different agencies, their activities will be managed by YG Entertainment.

In addition, BABYMONSTER is also planning to release a new album titled CHOOM with the main track titled Dance. They will start their promotions in October followed by a second world tour.

"I feel this is a BABYMONSTER album that you have never heard before," he said again.

Then, YG Entertainment is also planning a new album in June with a song called YG style. The T5 sub-unit will also release a new song and the agency is debuting a new sub-unit consisting of Choi Hyun Suk, Haruto, and Yoshi.

The agency also revealed that TREASURE is also going on a world tour starting early 2027. Currently, TREASURE is continuing their tour.

In addition to the three groups, YG Entertainment also announced plans to debut the boy group this year. Not only that, they are also preparing to debut a girl group with the name NEXT MONSTER whose members will be revealed in the near future.

This year, YG Entertainment is the agency for several artists, namely BLACKPINK, TREASURE, BABYMONSTER, WINNER, and Eun Ji Won.
